As an experienced tax investigations practitioner, you will have enjoyed a career with a large professional practice in your career to date and will have undertaken business development as part of your role.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to Directors and Partners, you will undertake enquiries for large clients in an advisory capacity.
- Undertaking business development and profile raising initiatives.
- Working to achieve resolutions to Civil Investigation Fraud cases through the following:
- Managing all aspects of the investigation, including preparing the disclosure reports and conducting meetings with both the clients and HMRC.
- Undertaking independent research to keep up to date with the latest developments.
- Assisting with the delivery of training courses both internally and externally on new issues that arise from government legislation.
- Contributing towards and writing articles on specialist areas on an ad hoc basis.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- A proven track record of generating business, through the existing client base network and via external sources.
- Experience of working on large cases - Big 4 experience or working for a large mid-tier firm would be ideal.
Ideal Candidate Skills:
- CTA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ambitious and hardworking.

- A client following would be extremely advantageous.
